Our homemade cooking is one of Villa Edera's pride and joys: each day we offer delicious, tasty dishes prepared with genuine and extremely fresh ingredients

The restaurant offers 110 places and is the perfect choice for organising banquets, ceremonies and other parties in enchanting surroundings.

It is prettily and comfortably decorated with tables in beech and cherrywood and famous "Campania style chairs", handmade in Chiavari.

As well as Ligurian recipes, we also prepare special menus for children and guests who are vegetarian or coeliacs. 

Hotel Villa Edera offers gluten-free cuisine and is recognized by the Italian Celiac Association.

We organise Ligurian cooking courses in Springtime and autumn.

Menu for gluten-intolerant guests

  • Coeliac disease is a permanent intolerance towards gluten, a protein substance found in wheat and other cereals (such as kamut, farro, barley and rye). More than 85,000 cases are currently registered in Italy and the phenomenon is constantly growing. This is the reason that led the Hotel Villa Edera restaurant in Moneglia, after long and passionate research, to create a choice gluten-free menu, with no variation in the prices normally charged to guests.
  • Between a delicious breakfast and a sumptuous ice cream – both gluten-free – the hotel staff provide useful information for gluten-intolerant guests and those who are intolerant towards lactose, indicating valid alternatives to classic menus.
  • In 2005, the Hotel Villa Edera became the first hotel in Liguria's Levante Riviera to join the network of hotels and restaurants associated with AIC (the Italian Coeliac Association).
