Location
Villa Edera is in Moneglia, half way between Portofino and the Cinque Terre, protected from behind by typical Ligurian hills with woods full of fragrant Mediterranean scrub and olive trees, while being only 200 metres from the sea.

A train or boat trip to the villages which make up the Cinque Terre, Unesco Heritage since 1997, is also a must: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, can be reached in about 30 minutes from the hotel. These romantic villages, built as though they had taken root on the rockside dropping straight into the sea are protected by pretty inlets and surrounded by rugged rocks and cultivated vineyards and olive groves. They are a singular attraction of nature and coveted destination for lovers of scuba diving and excursions.

How to reach us
By car (from Sestri Levante)
To reach Moneglia, take the A12 Genova-Livorno motorway and come off at Sestri Levante. Turn left at the first traffic light and carry on for about 400 metres. Turn right when you see signs for Moneglia-Tunnel. Carry on until you come to the 2nd traffic light (green at 15,35,55 minutes). Immediately turn right after the 5th tunnel and carry on until you come to the Hotel Villa Edera.
By train
The train station in Moneglia is just 200 metres from the hotel: guests can use our new elements that is located in front of the railway station and that leads directly to the hotel.
By plane
Moneglia is approximately 60 km from the "Cristoforo Colombo" airport in Genoa: the hotel can arrange a pick up service to and from the airport. Alternatively, you can use the "Volabus Linea 100" service which will take you to Brignole Station in Genoa in no time. From there you can take a direct train for La Spezia and get off at Moneglia: The Hotel Villa Edera is just a short distance from the station.
